What is the goal of our CSR approach?

We created Les Charrettes de Lily eight years ago with the idea of building an ideal company, one with moral and societal values that reflect who we are. Here, we value contact, sharing ideas, kindness, respect for the environment, and a genuine CSR policy. In a company, we can take action, and we live our freedom in the choice of ingredients and materials we select. We are mindful of the impacts generated by all our catering activities, providing custom food services for specific events (ISO 20121 standard).

OUR PACKAGING IS ECO-FRIENDLY

Our selection includes trays, poke bowls, dessert cartons, as well as wooden forks and spoons, ensuring zero plastic in all our products.

We are firmly committed to reducing food waste by adopting responsible practices in our daily management. By optimizing our purchases and precisely calculating portions, we minimize excess while ensuring the freshness and quality of our products. Our efforts also include donating unsold items to charitable organizations, thus supporting those in need while combating waste. This eco-responsible approach reflects our desire to preserve natural resources and promote more conscious and sustainable consumption.

OUR AMBITION

We aim to continue this dynamic of continuous improvement by optimizing all our processes, highlighting our actions, and sustaining our general working method.

With 800 m² of facilities divided into different work areas, we have optimal conditions for preparing our dishes. We rigorously apply the principles of the HACCP method, which aims to control the food safety of our products, including forward planning, traceability, temperature control, and strict adherence to the cold chain.

OUR CUSTOM SUPPORT

Our journey to achieving ISO 20121 certification began in May 2019. Since then, we have set objectives addressing the key priorities of our CSR approach.

  • Manage our resources responsibly and ensure waste traceability :
    • Optimize the use of our water and energy resources
    • Maintain a precise vision of the waste generated, sort it, and ensure its valorization or recycling with the anti-waste concept as the best means of minimizing the revalorization circuit
  • Be a responsible employer by valuing employees’ skills and including those far from employment :
    • Value professional skills and aptitudes
    • Promote the inclusion of those far from employment
  • Promote the riches of Vexin through a strong territorial anchor and sustainable partnerships with local producers :
    • Promote the concept of short supply chains to stakeholders
    • Develop local agriculture in a short supply chain for our sourcing

ECO-RESPONSIBLE CONSUMABLES

Regarding our CSR policy, all our containers are recyclable and meet sanitary and ecological standards. They are made from kraft cardboard and biodegradable PLA.

 

A VEGETARIAN AND VEGAN ALTERNATIVE

We offer a vegetarian alternative for almost all our culinary experiences. Any leftover food at the end of an event is donated to a partner association. No unnecessary waste.

TRACEABILITY AND SEASONALITY

We emphasize the quality, origin, traceability, and seasonality of our various products. Our foodstuffs come from France and our agricultural partners, exclusively through short supply chains.

 

ECOLOGICAL LOGISTICS

Concerned about respecting our environment, we are committed to a sustainable development policy. Waste management, reducing losses, minimizing CO2 emissions through optimized supply and delivery logistics, are central to our efforts to pursue a more ecological and responsible approach.

FAQ

Do you travel all over UK ? Abroad ?

Our lab is located in London, as well as most of our events. However, we travel everywhere, in UK and abroad according to your needs. We have already had the opportunity to carry out many events, as well as street marketing operations in beautiful locations in Paris, Madrid, Brussels, Geneva, Mykonos, Milan, and New York.

How far in advance should I confirm the service with you ?

For perfect organization, it would be preferable to confirm your event at least 5 days in advance to allow us time to book teams, place orders, block equipment, and tricycles. However, we are committed to making your event a success, even if it is a last-minute reservation !

What do I need to provide at the event location ?

We are fully autonomous in most of our animations. We offer a turnkey service by bringing the equipment and our teams to set up, animate, and tidy up post-event.

We need you to provide access to power outlets and spaces for our carts!

Is it possible to customize the stand and containers ?

Customization is our strength and our added value.

We offer complete customization, from the stand (tricycle / buffet) to the waitstaff uniforms, as well as the consumables, whatever they may be. You provide us with the visuals, and we take care of the rest.

How does your stand set up if we don't have an elevator or it's too small ?

As tricycles have a fairly significant weight, we prefer buffets in case of events on floors without an elevator. They are less bulky and facilitate installation.

How many stands do you have ?

We have a fleet of over 300 tricycles, with modules adapted to all types of culinary animations: for cooking, keeping cold, and also a smooth work surface. They were imagined and built directly by the Lily’s Carts team, with eco-responsible materials, and are the key elements for creating food courts for your events.

How many guests can you serve ?

We can serve from 20 to 10,000 people. We have a strong team of headwaiters, servers, and runners to make your event a great success. We ensure fast service thanks to the expertise of the Lily’s Team.

How much time do you plan for installation ?

We plan to arrive 2 hours in advance to prepare and set up everything. We adapt this time depending on the number of stands present and the size of the event.
